Terry Becker, 59, of Rogers passed away July 31, 2019 from a long and courageous battle with cancer, at his home surround by his loved ones. He was born in Cedar Rapids, IA on March 21, 1960 to the late DueWayne Becker and the late Karen Pagles.

Terry was very involved in Ham Radio, loved taking motorcycle trips with his wife, and just riding with his many friends. He bowled for many years, taking first place in several leagues. He started roller skating at a very young age, and would take his family every Sunday to skate for many years. He loved 4 wheeling and camping. An Eagle Scout himself, he served as a leader for years, helping both his sons attain their Eagles. He also served as a T-ball coach and asst. baseball coach. Most of all, Terry just loved life, his family, and his two Golden Retrievers, Riley and Abby.

He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lisa Becker; two sons, Steven of Dallas, TX and Brett of El Paso, TX; and 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 10th at Oakley Chapel Cemetery in Rogers at 10:30am, followed by a celebration and reminiscing in his honor at the Rogers Bowling Alley.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for the Rogers Police Dept K9 Unit and to help new ham radio enthusiasts.

We really never know where our journey in life will take us or how long it will last, the important thing is that we always live it to the fullest. Be kind, respectful, and show your love for every living thing so that others around you will be touched that is the impression Terry has left on us.
We can learn from him and carry the tenderness of a giving soul, a kind heart and a youthful spirit rest in peace brother we will meet again.

Thank you Randy & Penny. So very well said. He was so full of energy and loved living life. I’m lucky we came together early in life and got to spend 41 total years together. He was my everything. And was a great dad!

A great man with a great family. We loved having you as neighbors so many years ago (near water tower!) and loved sharing family stories and adventures. Please accept sincere condolences from Matt and Cindy Allgood

Thank you Matt & Cindy. He will be missed by so many. And likewise, we loved to be your neighbors. And when the kids would all go to Charlie’s to swim when the flag was out.

R.I.P Terry. I hadn't seen you in many years but we grew up together from kids living across the street from each other. Our families were very close. I'm hoping that you suffering is over and that you are on to a better place. Rest in peace my friend.

Lisa Becker Posted at 03:16pm

Thank you Rocky. He would point out that you all lived by each other and would tell me about it every time we drove by the house.
