At age 56, Scott Thurman, departed this life on November 12, 2020 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Scott was born August 18, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a resident of Summers, Arkansas.
Scott was a roofer by trade. He loved roofing, hunting and fishing. Scott would do anything for anyone. He could be a handful, but, he was an all-around good guy. He will be dearly missed.
Scott is survived by: Bonus Mom Mary Slimp, his daughters, Kimberly Ann Darker of Westville, OK and Desi; his son, Travis; his brothers, Chester Kwasnewski of Elgin, IL, Jack Grizley of McHenry, IL, John Thurman of Cherokee Village, AR, Joseph Thurman of Rockford, IL, James Thurman of Kewanee, IL, Mark Louis Thurman of Lockport, IL; Norman Thurman of Rockford, IL; his sisters, Donna Black of Little Falls, MN, Francis Brandecker of River Grove, IL, Mary Lou Thurman of Chicago, IL, Darlene Wagge (Thurman) of Carpenterville, IL; several nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren.
Scott was pre-deceased by his Father, Mother and one brother Winfred Gary Thurman.

Uncle Scoot the short time I had with u I will always remember. You will always be in my heart. I miss are phone calls and the crazy text messages. You will never be forgotten. Love u uncle Scott.....

I gave Scott his first birthday party. He wasn't big on cakes so I got him a pizza and chocolate chip cookie pie. He said I have never had a birthday party. He loved Swedish meatballs, lasagna.
I made him many strawberry cheese cakes.
