Ric Stripling, age 67, of Gentry died On October 1, 2020, Ric Stripling left his earthly home to live eternally in the arms of Jesus where he awaits the arrival of his wonderful wife of 43 years and his children and grandchildren. Ric was a loving husband who cherished his wife Debbie. They spent every day working and at home and play together. Lots of days were spent taking care of other people. He was an avid fan of baseball and the Razorbacks. Ric loved his children and grandchildren and always wished to spend more time with them. Being known as Dad and Pop-Pop were some of his greatest achievements and joys.
Ric never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He was committed to his Faith and active in church and community. It was his greatest hope that his life would be used to bring others to a personal relationship and saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Ric was born to A.J. and Ailene Stripling on November 14, 1952 in Camden, Ark. And Jacksonville high School was his Alma Mater graduating in 1970. He married the love of his life in March 12, 1977 and together their blended family totaled 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Though he had many titles such as businessman, community leader and volunteer, Faith and family were always his priority. Later in life he enjoyed working as caregiver and had started a new chapter being a realtor. Ric was proceeded in death by his parents. Those left to treasure his memory include his wife Deborah, his children Cheryl Glenn, Bryan and Ryan Stripling and Kim Schroeder. His grandchildren Jackson, Harper, Gavyn, Bryleigh, Lauren, Emma, Nicolet, Zino, Josie, and Izzy. He leaves behind to honor his memory his sister Kimberly McGee and a host of nieces, nephews and family and friends.
