Patricia "Patty" Louise Gruver, 65, of Gravette, Arkansas died August 19, 2019 in her home. She was born January 2, 1954 to Charles Earl Wilson and Beaulah Arlene (Wilson) Long.
She was born in Joplin, MO., and went through elementary in various schools in California. Her high school years were spent in Gravette, AR where she graduated from Gravette Holiness Bible School. Afterward she married the love of her life Rodney Gruver, with a devotion for over 42 years. There she went on to teach Kindergarten, with a passion for children. This led to many years of teaching Sunday school. Many little souls seemed to be doing a variety of things but the Lord moved through her to change each little life forever. Along with the years of teaching, her gift and love of singing blessed years of ears. She not only sang of faith, but she talked the talk and walked the walk. For 13 years she battled kidney disease even through her darkest moments, without complaint and an unwavering faith. Never once did she show anger or unpleasantry to anyone. Patty's faith was evident in the unconditional love she showed to ALL people.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Terry Wilson, Marlene (Wilson) Farriester, and William Eugene Baty.
She is survived by her husband Rodney Gruver; children Rick Gruver and wife April, Michelle Millard and husband Wesley, Joe Gruver and wife Amanda; three siblings Mary Ann (Wilson) Putman, David Wilson and Debbie (Wilson) Roland; sister in law Starlette (Gruver) Gordon; Grandchildren Dylan Gruver, Nathan Gruver, Levi Slaughter, Autumn Gruver, Henry Gruver, Jackson Gruver, Destiny Anna Lawson, Krysta Millard, Alexa Millard, Eli Millard, McKenna Millard, Karsten Millard, Chase Millard , Makayla Slaughter, and Tristessa Gruver.
