Obituary

Michelle “Mickey” Montgomery, age 65, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Mickey was born on July 8, 1955 in Kankakee, Illinois, the daughter of Bernard Clark and Donna Guimond Spencer.
Mickey managed the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Hutchinson, KS for over 30yrs. After moving to Arkansas to be closer to family, she found true joy serving the students at Prairie Grove Elementary School.
Mickey’s life was built on faith and centered around her family and friends. Her passion and love for others was felt by many, appreciated by most, but will be missed by all. She had a great appreciation for music (particularly Barbara Streisand), reading, and going to her grandchildren’s events. Mickey’s love, friendship, stories, and unique perspective has been GOD’s blessing to us…”YOU KNOW”
Surviving are two sisters, Debbie Heiss of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Kris Clark of Bradley Illinois; two sons, Chad (Jennifer) Benoit of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Gary Benoit of Greenwood, Indiana; three grandchildren Cayden, Ella and Tate; a family friend Marla Austin and her former husband Richard Benoit. Preceded in death by her step father Bernie Guimond.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Washington Regional Friends of Hospice c/o Washington Regional Foundation, 325 Longview Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
