Obituary

Joseph Richard (J.R.) Bond, 84, of Springdale, Arkansas left this world April 7, 2020 for his eternal home in Heaven. He was born October 21, 1935 in Cedar Creek, Missouri to Joseph Vernon Bond and Edith Mae(Williams) Bond. J.R. is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, a brother, and his wife of 57 years Betty(Johnson)Bond. He is survived by his daughter, Debra(Tommy) Young of Westville, Ok.; son, John (Lynda) Bond of Springdale, AR; granddaughters, Jennifer(Anthony) Simpson, Jerri(Danny) Bolstad and two grandsons, Richard and Nick Bond; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Avery, and Zay Simpson, Zac(Brittany) and Lindsey Boldstad; brothers, Donald Bond of Cave Springs, AR. and Jerry Bond of Russellville, AR.; many nieces and nephews and friends. He will also be missed by his adopted family who call him Papaw. At the age of 34 he gave his heart to the Lord. He was a member of the Ray of Hope Church of Knob Hill. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
