John Clifford Parrett, 84, of Bentonville passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born October 2, 1936 in Buckner, MO to Delsa L. Parrett and Clifford Parrett.
John was known by Jay to his friends and family. Jay and Faye, his wife of 54 years, lived a very active lifestyle, traveling across America in their motorhome. They also enjoyed their lake home and boating on Beaver Lake near Eureka Springs, AR. Later they decided that they preferred the warmer weather and retirement living in Mesa, AZ. But eventually, they returned to Arkansas to be closer to family.
Jay was preceded in death by both his parents and his oldest brother Ted V. Parrett.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah (Faye) Parrett; daughters Glenda LaHood and husband Salem; and Phyllis McGuire and husband Robert; and grandchildren Zachary and Hannah LaHood and Gable McGuire. He is also survived by stepdaughters Linda Sylvester and husband Scott, and Doris Breitenstein and husband Russell, all living in Bentonville, AR.
