I will surely miss Joy. I have really enjoyed the time we spent together while she lived with us. We took her to many places (Silver Dollar City), parks, restaurants, and watch several movies. I was happy she got to enjoy life and experience a level of independence she was comfortable with. I know that she is sleeping and awaiting for that day when she will be resurrected. In John 11:11,14-44: Jesus said to his disciples “Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep;...Jesus had spoken about his death.” We remember the story of Lazarus who had been dead for four days and Jesus resurrected him. For Jesus is “the resurrection and the life” (vs 25). Jesus also foretold in Matt. 5:5: “Happy are the meek since they will inherit the earth.” Joy was a meek person, one who ‘teachable’. She has the confidence that Jesus will called her to a resurrection here on this earth. Until then she will sleep until that day and will awaken in a paradise restored earth. She looks forward to this time where no more pain, death nor sickness will exist here in paradise. I too look forward to seeing her again in Paradise where she will be able walk freely again and enjoy walking on this earth again with a perfect body, no longer getting older but getting younger, she will look forward to seeing many of her friends and family and laughing with them again. This is a hope that both Joy and I share and have gone in the preaching work tell others about this hope that comes from the Bible. Jehovah God invites us all to seek him and his kingdom here on this earth as Jesus instructed us to pray for him to let his kingdom come on earth.(Matt 6:9,10: Rev 21:3, 4 Zephaniah 2:3) See you soon Joy!

Joy was a faithful servant of Jehovah God. She believed in the hope of the Resurrection. Grandma will be missed greatly. We have faith that we will see her very soon in God's new world! It's Just Around the Corner. Rev 21:3,4. JW.ORG
