I first met J.R. thru our son's Cole and Garrett's friendship. Then our frequent dining at the original Main Street Cafe became the times we'd most often visit. After that, i would see him and Gracie on the golf course in Noel. Over the years, our families have bonded like we were relatives, but that's the kind of family J.R. has, making everyone feel like family. "The 'ol man" was one of the kindest and right-off-the-cuff-funny guys. He will be missed but never forgotten. With love, Catt August
