Genelle Martha Voss of Winslow, age 69, died peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2020 surrounded by her family at Willard Walker Hospice after a long battle with breast cancer. Genelle loved the Lord and was an extraordinary witness for Him in her daily life. Her hundreds of online friends sent messages during her hospice stay saying how she lifted their spirits every day with her posts and favorite sign off, “God loves you all and so do I.” Genny, as many called her, was gifted at crochet, jewelry-making or any craft she set her mind to and created beautiful gifts for family and friends. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved music. She shared that love with her children. She loved animals and adopted many cats and dogs over the years.
She is survived by her devoted husband Ross Voss, her daughters Elizabeth Belle Childs of Springdale, Jennifer Lee Clampitt of Fayetteville, Tanya Suzanne Huckaby of Lincoln, Sheila Wideman-Boren of Tulsa, OK and one son Frederick Allyn Atwood of North Conway, New Hampshire. She is also survived by grandchildren Forrest, Zachary, Kyle, Daniel, Jerry, Jamison, Brittany and Paige and 8 great grandchildren. She will be so missed until we all see her again in heaven. A memorial service is planned for February 29, 2020 at 12 noon at the Elm Springs Community Center 289 Jayroe Avenue in Elm Springs. The family asked that if you feel so lead that you donate in her name to A Place to Bark

Met Genelle through Facebook... playing Farmville, of all things! We share a love of creativity and I thoroughly enjoyed her artsy craftsy posts and sharing. Loved her stories about her family and most certainly loved her tagline.... God loves you and so do I! Beautiful, creative, strong, valient. Though we never met in person, the memory of our moments together online will live forever in my heart! She is a testiment to a HUGE loving and caring spirit! I will miss my not-so-anonymous friend!

May healing memories shore the days of her dear friends and family. She gave so many reasons to pay it forward and live in joy EVERY SINGLE DAY... right to the end! Love to you all!
