Obituary

Dorothy j Fain (Foote)

Went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2020. She was called home after a month long battle with pneumonia.
Dorothy was born January 23, 1951 to the parents of George and Imogean Foote in California. She graduated from Shafter High School.
On February 20, 1967 Dorothy married the love of her life Gary Fain Sr. They were married for 54 years. Together they raised their 3 boys, Gary Jr, Eric and Jason.
They lived in Button Willow California until they relocated to Oklahoma in 1995.
Dorothy worked as a care giver at a hospital in Fort Smith, AR.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Dorothy absolutely loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Dorothy’s favorite pastime was showing her prized Papillion’s including her favorite dog Cj, as well as being part of the dog showing community.
Dorothy was a wonderful Sunday school teacher, a prayer warrior and a beautiful women of faith. She believed her spiritual gifts were teaching and intercessory prayer.
She wholeheartedly believed that Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. Dorothy was passionate about her faith and LOVED to share the gospel with anyone who would listen. Her favorite passage was Psalms 91.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, George and Imogean Foote, her husband Gary Fain Sr., Three siblings, and a grandchild, Adriel Fain.
She is survived by siblings, Nina, Gerry, Phil, Donnie, Kathy and Maryjane.
Her 3 children and their spouses, Gary Fain jr. Eric (Katie) Fain and Jason (Rhonda) Fain, 12 grandchildren, Gary Fain the III, Daniel, Jonathan, Mayghan, Elijah, Rhema, Judah, Brooklyn, Elliana, Malachi, Khanaa and Ethan, as well as 2 great grandchildren, Rayleigh and Logan.
A memorial service will be held at Roland Pentecostal Church 107 N main St. Roland OK Friday October 23, 2020 at 11 am.
