Obituary

David Grigg, 65, of Fayetteville, AR went to his heavenly home on August 9th at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR. David was raised as a farmer’s son in Purdy, AR to Raymond Dotson Grigg and Dorothy Ethel (Duvall) Grigg. David had 4 brothers, Wymbert, Lyndall, Emmett Jackson (Jacky), and Jimmy and 3 sisters, Chloeretta, Marilyn and Marlene. David just lost his brother Wymbert in June of this year. He loved all his family dearly and tried his best to stay with us, just to see his granddaughter Ruby go to kindergarten.
David was preceded in death by both parents Raymond and Dorothy, brothers Wymbert, Lydall, Emmett Jackson (Jacky) and sister Marlene.
Survivors include his spouse Denise Grigg of the home, daughter Andrea Grigg, grandson Brayden Luke Smith and granddaughter Ruby Joyce Grigg of Fayetteville- 2 stepdaughters, Erin Fisher of Springdale, and Brooke Taylor of Fayetteville. Shirley Grigg (Wymbert) of Huntsville, Barbara Grigg (Lyndall) of Fayetteville, Janice Wallis (Jacky) of Harrison and Jimmy and Rondi Grigg of Harrison. Chloeretta and Ervil Skelton of Decatur, Marilyn and Gary Bohannan of Clifty and brother-in-law Geral James of Jasper (Marlene James).
David had five wonderful aunts and uncles from Boise/Meridian ID and Springdale, AR, twenty plus nieces and nephews, and countless cousins, and great cousins- losing only his precious great niece Shelby Rae Dotson of Kingston and great nephew Titus Lyndall Grigg of Fayetteville. Oh, how he loved his family, his 2 best friends David Russell and Richard McCarter, and family reunions!
A celebration of David’s life will be held at a time and location yet to be determined.
In honor of David’s memory, please donate to the American Lung Association or Circle of Life hospice

Had a lot of good times in Kingston in the late 70’s with the Griggs boys and Marlene and John Russell and Ed Fowler. We made lots of wonderful memories in the good ole days at the Kingston Stomp. RIP DAVID
