Obituary

Cheryl Ann Holt, Born August 23rd, 1956 in Sacramento, California to Daniel Del Priore and Gloria Meeks. She passed at her home with the love of family and friends on July 6th, 2020. A resident of Northwest Arkansas since January 2006, Ms. Holt moved to the area from Northern California to be closer to her beloved grandchildren. Known for her art, jewelry and colorful personality; she was the definition of a character and the daughter of a proud Marine. As a free spirit growing up, her passion and rebelliousness were legendary. Once she committed her life to Christ, her unique & genuine love for all of God’s children was unparalleled. She frequently would bless anyone and everyone with her charm, sass and unsolicited compliments or gifts. She had a kind word for everyone but was not a woman to trifle with. She proudly became a baby Christian in her late 50s after a long, audacious journey as a prodigal and frequently reached the lost in a way only one who has done a lot of living in this dark world could. A huge mental health advocate, she lovingly told of her trials and mistakes so that to help others learn from them. She was unapologetic and real in her recounts of her past, which made her beloved and sought after for authentic advice. Her hi-jinks were legendary and as an avid prankster, she could be found giggling with glee while aiding and abetting her grandchildren and anyone else with a good gag. She self- identified as “No-No Nana” & as her grandchildren would lovingly tell her why her latest escapade was a “no-no” she would sigh and say, “Are you sure?” with a sparkle in her eye like only she could. She loved lavishly, fiercely and deeply- and frequently took in the lost, last and least- loving them in a way only those who need it would know to do. She will be missed greatly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gloria and Daniel Del Priore, her younger brother, Eric Del Priore, and older brother, Alan Del Priore. She is survived by two loving siblings: Dan Del Priore of Guam and Diane Del Priore of Northern California along with many nieces, nephews and self-proclaimed spiritual children. She was survived and adored by two daughters: Danielle Hawn of northern California; Misty Rae Drain and her husband, Randy Drain of Farmington, Arkansas. Her beloved grandchildren: Jacob and Benjamin Schad; Samantha Drain; Jaclyn and her husband Evan Wynn. She was blessed with and lived for Elyza and Wyatt Stidham and baby Wynn on the way as great-grandchildren.
**A Memorial Service will be held at Cross Pointe Community Church at 1174 Henri de Tonti Blvd, Tontitown, Arkansas at 1pm on July 15th, 2020. During this unprecedented pandemic, we are lovingly and respectfully requesting social distancing and masks at the service to give her the honor she so richly deserves while still protecting those who need it, including those who are immunocompromised.**
