Geneva, and family: we send our sympathy at this difficult time but also send our thanks for sharing A. C. with us. Star and I always looked forward to seeing you both at church and A.C. would always make us smile. A fine Christian man that we have been fortunate to call friend. May the Lord comfort you and may the pain be eased knowing that a great man is now in heaven.
Love, Ed and Star McCreless

I was lucky to call A.C. my uncle. Throughout my life I was gifted with his boisterous laugh and keen sense of humor. As part of the “3 Docs” he along with my dad and Uncle Preston formed a wonderful bond of brotherhood. I’m thankful that they are reunited once again. They are no doubt up to some serious shenanigans in heaven. For 57 years he was married to my lovely Aunt Geneva and was a wonderful father to my cousins Lonnie and Lana. Although my visits have been sparse the last few years I loved seeing his relationship with his adorable great grandsons. A.C. was a good man and I’m privileged and proud to call him my uncle.
