Westfield Chapel was founded with a very specific purpose—to minister to hurting families in our community.  Our family is completely committed to serving your family and meeting your needs during your most difficult times.

We are here to guide you through the planning process and all the details involved with the death of a loved one.  During such a stressful and confusing time, it is important to have a trusted guide.  You can depend on our family to help you create a meaningful and fitting tribute to your loved one.

At Westfield Chapel we do not just plan funerals, we help your family through your grief journey and ensure you are on the right path to healthy healing.  As members of this community, we are invested in providing complete help to all families.  Our goal is to exceed the expectations of the families we serve.

David & Jeanne Fulfer

David, a native and lifelong resident of Springdale, was owner and founder of Westfield Chapel. David and Jeanne both graduated from Springdale High School.  David went on to receive degrees in banking and finance from the University of Arkansas. He worked in the community as a Realtor, developer and building contractor for thirty‑five years. Jeanne worked alongside him in his businesses while remaining focused on raising their family. David and Jeanne were members of First Assembly of God Church where David served as a board member for thirty‑two years. They were active in Christian education, senior citizen ministry, children’s ministry and special events.

David and Jeanne were married for 37 years and have two children, Amy Jones and her husband, Mark; and Colby Fulfer and his wife, Rachel. They also have five grandchildren, Graham, Isabella, Abigail, Faith and Mallory.

David passed away in July of 2009. He is dearly missed but his legacy of community support and compassion continues through his family.


Colby Fulfer

Colby is a 1996 graduate of Shiloh Christian School and attended both Evangel University and Central Bible College while pursuing his call to be in ministry. In 2002, he and his wife Rachel moved to Statesboro, Georgia where they opened a church on the Georgia Southern campus. Then in 2006, they returned to Northwest Arkansas to plant a new church and start a family.

Colby and Rachel now live in Rogers with their three beautiful daughters, Abigail, Faith and Mallory. Colby enjoys spending time with his family and living back home in Northwest Arkansas. He is co‑pastor of the City Church of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville.


Bradley Sheppard

A graduate of Fayetteville High School, Bradley has been compassionately serving Northwest Arkansas families as a funeral director for twelve years.  Bradley received his Bachelor of Arts in music from Ouachita Baptist University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the funeral science program at Arkansas State University. A classical pianist, Bradley enjoys composing music for band and wind ensembles.  He resides in Rogers, Arkansas.


Mark Jones

Mark spent his childhood in Tennessee and went on to earn his B. A. in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College. Mark led a thriving student ministry in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He then co‑founded The Seven Project, a school assembly organization alongside of Youth Alive.  In 2004 Mark became a lead pastor in Alabama and is now co-pastor of City Church of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Mark and his wife Amy live in Fayetteville with their two children, Graham and Isabella.


Alexis Sheappard

Alexis Sheappard joined the staff of Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in 2011. For many years, she has assisted Northwest Arkansas families plan their funeral in advance. Alexis is dedicated to compassionately helping people through difficult times and creating individual and meaningful ceremonies to honor their loved ones.
